Principal Appreciation Month at Three Oaks Public School Academy

October is Principal Appreciation Month and at Three Oaks Public School Academy we couldn’t be more excited to highlight our hardworking and dedicated administration for all that they do. We take pride in providing both a unique and wholesome education, and that starts with our leadership. We want to take this opportunity to celebrate our leadership and explain what makes them such an important piece of our community.

The first person we would like to celebrate this month is our principal, Monecia Vasbinder. Monecia attended Aquinas College and Methodist University in North Carolina for her bachelor’s degree and Aquinas College for her master’s degree. Monecia started as a teacher at Three Oaks in 2008 and has been a dedicated and passionate part of the Three Oaks and Choice communities ever since. As a leader, Monecia does an incredible job at making student focused decisions and creating a positive and uplifting environment for her staff!

The next person we are highlighting for Principal Appreciation Month is our assistant principal, Jared Meldrum. Jared attended Michigan University and Dominican University in Chicago for his educational degree. Jared started at Three Oaks as a fifth-grade teacher before moving into his current role as Assistant Principal where he has been serving since 2017. Jared has an exceptional talent as an educator which has translated into leading the Three Oaks community in a way that inspired commitment and belief in their mission.

Our leaders will always be a fundamental part of our school community, and we can’t thank them enough for their compassion, dedication and hard work. They serve as the backbone of our school, the ones inspiring change, and the mentors who shape our youth’s future. While this month may mark the official celebration, every day is an opportunity to recognize and support these outstanding individuals.
