Three Oaks offers bus transportation to students who live within a four mile radius of the school. Riding the bus is a privilege, not a right. Students who ride the bus must demonstrate good behavior and must follow the directions of the bus driver. Cell phones, all electronic equipment, and noise making devices are forbidden on school buses.
Students are expected to wait for and board the bus in an orderly fashion. Parents are required to grant permission for their children to ride the bus, which will include bus rider behavior rules.
The Code of Student Conduct is in effect at all times, from bus stop to school, during the school day, at student activities, and from school back to original bus stop. Parents dropping off or picking up their children are reminded to pay close attention to movement of students and vehicles in the parking area.
Changes in bus pick up or drop off locations must be requested 48 hours in advance.
Parents are required to call school no later than 2:00 PM in order to change busing arrangements.
